New Housing Wards. Where would you like to live?

With 5.0 comes the possibility of at least one brand new housing ward. Where would you want it?

Personally I'm for the next ward being in Ishgard to make Ishgard more relevant again. However, Doma, and The Crystarium do seem like they'd be interesting places to live in.

Thoughts?

The aesthetics of the Crystarium are really pretty and maybe I'd check out the apartments there (the glass and steel remind me of Victorian greenhouses, and those are lovely ). That said, given the Ishgard restoration we're getting for 5.0, and the many requests for Ishgardian housing, I could see it being the new housing area.

Yeah, that's where my suspicion lies as well. I think we'll spend a sizeable portion of the expansion fixing up Ishgard as it sounds we'll be doing, and then sometime after that we'll end up with the housing area. My guess would be somewhere around the 2/3's mark of the expansion if not closer to the end, but that's purely guess work.

Airship, I'd like to park my airship above cities and atop the clouds for nice vista views. It's not really part of the housing ward system though XD... Would probably be it's own thing like: here.

Otherwise picking a place that mirrors the standard wards set up I think beyond WhiteArchmage's awesome suggestion that I'd like to have either an underground or floating on a large platform in the clouds magical place. I know that's a 180 in locations but I'd love either of those lol, both with that ancient magical feeling. Like if one has played WoW's undercity except not undead, more castle in the sky (Laputa), FFXI sky, ancient magic style.

I'm actually not sure if I'd want to live in Ishgard, it's a bit bleak but obviously we're going to be helping rebuild it.. if it had that holy radiant look from the concept art I probably would want to. Just not yet, though I'm very excited to see what repaired Ishgard looks like (I love seeing things get built up, huge fan when I get to see those changes over time).

Ishgard 100% don't even got to think about it hard I want to live there. I'd happily abandon my medium for even a small in Ishgard though I am aiming to get a Large if/when it happens.

Biggest wish: If they ever made private housing, so only you and who you gave permission to go there could see it, I'd like a house that's in the woods where you could watch wild chocobo run by in groups by day and see them sleeping at night. But that ain't gonna happen.


I personally think we'll be getting housing in Ishgourd, since we're gonna be helping them rebuild.

It'd be nice to have instanced housing in Ishgard, but if it's not instanced, it's ok I suppose.
