Well, because having a new job is FUN. But here comes the dilemma; Should we rather have 1 new role job every expansion (1 tank, healer, ranged, melee and caster = 5 new jobs), or just 2-3 new jobs and more content? In the end it's all about invested time and resources, and I don't think it would be good for the game to invest extra resources into another job. I'd rather get new/better content.

So again, having new jobs is fun, but it's a lot better to have new content and balance the actual jobs, so for me, new jobs can wait.

Of coz I would be happier if identity crisis fix with 4th heal role all together. However if I have to choose, I will always pick they fix current heal role, they get BRD and MCN fixed in 4.0(sort of). They could get all three heal fix, just need to prioritise their resources
Yes, there's an identity crisis. That's why I would rather get the actual jobs balanced instead of a new rushed role :/

So basically, just wait for the new healer. What we need now is to balance the existing ones, and I believe SE already balanced them for this expansion
