What is the most populous server?

I heard Lindblum has a big population (it was the most populated server during release) and I also heard Besaid has a pretty big population.

As I've argued before, the media slams SE anyway - the game has no good PR to begin with. SE made sure of that by announcing subs a few months ago. There is really nothing to lose and a lot to gain by merging the dead servers, as many people have pointed out earlier in this thread.

I'm really happy for this news.
I just wish they hadn't left the work of moving to us players since there are probably going to be a lot of people who stick to their server because of habit or sheer lazyness.

It seems to be an option specifically for EU players.

Something I just realized - Yoshida actually used the word "mid" for the month of January, so whoever initially said that the Japanese use "early = 1 - 15 and late = 16 - 31" was incorrect.

I think they have a three words for 10 days of a month that they use. "Days 1-10", "days 11-20" etc.

The timing of this translation confuses me. Usually the English reps are nowhere to be seen at these times!

People should converse in their Linkshells to make sure that they and their friends transfer as a group when given the choice (if a transfer becomes applicable to them).

5 minutes ago, a Community Rep posted on the official Final Fantasy XIV forums that Square Enix plans server merges due to the low population numbers.

I guess all four players still playing will finally be able to play together, while the rest of the world wonders why this thing is still online.
