Yeah, if a legit ivalice game finally included them i would be all for it. Except it's not the case yet.

What more would it take for XIV to be considered an 'Ivalice game' to you? Because I mean we were there, we have some of the races, we have a chunk of the lore, some people were involved in both.

Please understand that male moonkeepers are more than "they just get born less"
They are highly territorial. They leave their clan when they come of age. They live alone in the forest for most of their lives, only coming in contact with clans to mate. And they are extremely antisocial.
This was all reasoning as to why they weren't available in 1.0, and the lore characterization has not changed since.
We're not really glossing over anything when we say "they ripped moonkeeper lore and tacked on a long lifespan."

Which is inherantly sexist lore. Male verias are "only good for breeding". They are literally captives that cannot leave and serve no purpose aside from having babies.

Only they do, they went to great lengths to establish that they do, Fran tells you that they do, one of the reasons she goes with you to the Monastery is because they'd attack you otherwise.

Yes, Male Viera exist, however they were never seen once. They're a whisper in the woods, they're not Warriors of Light.

I, too, would like to throw my support behind the removal of gender-locked races.
Lore is important, but XIV is not a standard RPG. It's an MMO, and abundance of choice should be paramount.
