If we have to wait until 6.0, so be it, (or even later...) so be it, but I'd really like to see both male viera and female hrothgar at some point!

well i mean, if you could change the height in a dramatic way, change the texture on the muscles and had a cute and handsome option in faces it would honestly hit both camps.
I main Highlander Huyr lady and my highlander is the smallest she can be, so she's the same height as a midlander.

A wide enough height slider, and also a muscle tone slider, could resolve the issue in that case. It is what I wish they had done with auri females, i.e. added a bigger range on their height scale, maybe up to highlander female height. So we're in agreement on that front.well i mean, if you could change the height in a dramatic way, change the texture on the muscles and had a cute and handsome option in faces it would honestly hit both camps.

When the game's story becomes self-aware:

Can we also please get clarification on why the offical Viera Dancer artwork has the traditional Viera stilettos? https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20190323062250
Yet in the actual Dancer reveal video with a player made Viera she has these hideous boat shaped clown FLAT shoes on? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJTHh15yJzw
Viera need to have high heels for the majority of their foot armor. Please don't tell me after genderlocking races they're also going to ruin their traditional feet.
Sad Viera.
I just hope they released both the new races this way to give them time to release their other gender at some point.
I would so like to play as a male viera

Remember to give your feedback on the genderlock here.
I don't believe they actually need the high heels on account of how their foot anatomy is shaped in XIV. But it'd be nice if they added the heels as part of the set.Can we also please get clarification on why the offical Viera Dancer artwork has the traditional Viera stilettos? https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20190323062250

Sad Viera.
That, and these as well would all be good options for me:
Really, I think the last one would be the closest to offering something that fits the "bishonen" look but is still masculine, and aligned to female viera.
For the female Hrothgar, this is the design I liked best:

The female Ronso are <3 How could they choose not to include them.
I did not want to quite the whole post, and still new to the forums :P
Gods, yes please!
As an RPer, I had an entire character concept ready to go. I was working with my friend to introduce them IC (in-character). This really put a damper on ShB for me.

Liking to show support for adding male Viera as playable option. Please add it Yoshi! ♥

Genderlocking a race is dumb, I will be beyond disappointed if they do not rectify their mistake asap.
