    I hope they bring their three (or more?) systems together, like I really hope it happens.

    We have our retainers who learn jobs, our squadrons which learn jobs, and our trusts who are forced into a specific job, we also have our chocobo companion, and for those old enough to the game our 1.0 companion.

    I'd love to see these systems come together in some sort of logical manner so it doesn't feel so spread out.

    Like:
    • Retainers may be recruited into your squadron.
    • Chocobos are automatically added into your squadron as an option for squadron based content, if they're made strong enough - if not you can bring them in as a side character after perhaps feeding them a special chocobo pepper.
    • 1.0 Companions are brought back as recruit-able members, you have to find them in the world and do their quests/deliveries, once unlocked they'll be opened up for helping content depending on their identity (what job/concept they embody). Those that perform combat duties will be available for summon in the open world along side your chocobo. These companions would feel a bit like playing a single player RPG with an ally, making comments and having personal quests. Bethesda/Bioware companion, sort of like concept. Combat companions may be used in the squadron system as well, their power level depending on the time you've given them (requiring a lot more time, like a chocobo, but optionally becoming more powerful although still weaker than the trusts).
    • Trust behave just like squadron members in all their features BUT their jobs cant be changed, they're stronger, smarter, and because they're important individuals they can't be summoned 24/7 (so you treat them with respect).
    • All systems can complete the same content unless there must be some lore reason (right now trust is 5.0+), perhaps you can only bring echo members into old primal fights or travel to different dimensions.
    • Hopefully consider adding them into old content, like bringing your squadron/trust into Eureka, or into treasure hunts.

    In some way they all start to tie together, and maybe even can share a similar pannel of UI with tabs, but all stay pretty helpful. Because I mean it sounds weird to recruit some of these big names into your grand company squadron lol, as a lore concept, but having a bunch of disjointed systems doesn't sound too optimal either.
