A valid concern, but it’s been re-posted on Reddit, on various Discords and elsewhere. SE are already reviewing the matter and have the means to undertake further validation of the results, e.g. through surveys. So, nothing to worry about and this helps them see how high demand for it is. The purpose of this is not for it to be extrapolated across the entire playerbase but to demonstrate that there is demand for the gender-lock to go.
