Well would you get a load of this temper tantrum. Is it really that serious? I think what makes this funny is that you think you, one (1) person, can rally enough healers to 'not queue' to whereas you would make this huge, noticeable dent in a game with millions of players. Like, you're so confident there won't be a healer or two willing and ready to queue in your place or something... Hope you and the 30~ or so people who've liked your post enjoy abandoning a role I assume you enjoy entirely in vain. As if an effort this poor and this small would actually matter.

Nope. I dislike this kind of attitude because it will hurt other players. Besides I want to level my healer classes fast and enjoy the early PvE scene since I’ve been away from raids for more than a year.

Why would I do that? It doesn't help anyone, nor send any kind of message that sticks. I wanted a new healer as much as anyone, and I am not happy that in four years time they haven't been able to figure out how to balance them. I am also not happy that healers keep getting the short end of the stick, and of the three, WHM being my favorite job in the franchise is in the worst place. But I also acknowledge that the role is not in a good place to allow a 4th right now.

What is also scary is Yoshi's statement about the subject saying he wants to continue to try and get them balanced in 5.0, which to me means that going into it we should probably expect for them to not be in a better place than they are in now. If there is any reason to petition a healer strike, it would be for this reason and not because we are not getting a new one. They really need to get this figured out because if 6.0 comes out 2 years from June/July and they are still stumped, I would very much expect for the healer role to replace tank as the most common adventurer in need.

For now all we can do is wait. If they give WHM another SoTL2, I can't even begin to tell you guys how PO'd I will be. If AST continues step on WHM, they can expect more of the same from me. If they nerf SCH to the ground like they did at the beginning of 4.0, I may very well switch to DNC and revisit healing after they get things figured out. I will simply be a community healer at that point, taking advantage of AiN bonuses in roulettes whenever it comes up.

It really shouldn't be that difficult. They just actually need to focus on healers instead continuing to neglect them and their needs in favor of other jobs and content. They pissed a lot of people of with BLU and the limited job concept. That's resource time right there that could have gone into fixing our healers. So SE, please just stop the bleeding; stitch this role up, and get things right so you can finally give us our 4th healer.

Why are people so impatient? It is quite possible they will add a new job halfway through ShB. It is possible they might add a new healer. It is also possible they won't. It is SE's choice as to what they add. If you don't like it, voice your opinion in a mature manner and unsub if that is what you feel is the best way to make your opinion heard.

Coming onto the forums and asking other people to just stop playing a job is beyond childish.

As a healer main, I was a little disappointed to not see another healer job. BUT! As I am WHM main, I never play the other 2 healers, even though they are levelled. This would most likely end up being the same if a new one was introduced. I will be remaining loyal to my main job through the new expansion... I’m more excited to see how my job will change.
People need to get over this now. I for one am glad dancer isn’t a healer. I couldn’t see it work that way. I think the way SE have bought it out, it looks amazing and I will give it a go once I’ve finish MSQ of shadow bringers.

A really lack of imagination.

First of all, we DO have phsycial ranges. Bard and Machinist. And I appreciate the dancer being a third now.
And a melee healer? Look, healers are supposed to cast spells and being in need of running in melee range every time to heal someone points out, that they basically dont have aoe heals, cuz that wouldnt be melee, it would be range. A healer running down to every spread partymember is no good, hands down. Until he healed them, they will be dead, especially in savage and ultimate content.
Look, you can tell me, that im lacking imagination, but I actually DO think about how the class would work unlike you. You throw some ideas in the room, that wont even work, when you think 1 minute about it.
So, about the lack of imagination ...how abot you explain me indepth, how this healer of yours would actually work in a serious raid environment? With different skills and abilitys, playstyle etc. THEN, and only then, we can continue this argument for real.
