Oh yeah I hope they see it too. Go "Nanda kore wa?" Proceed to check the JP reactions and opinions and then ignore said thread.
Where was this passion for the male/female counter-parts for these races years ago?
Why not just make this a suggesting instead of demanding the Development team to drop everything they are doing and pour resources into every whim and desire.
Stop thinking like a consumer for a moment and put yourselves in the shoes of a developer/character concept artist for a large triple-a game studio; the compromise for the Viera seemed very realistic to me.
And who is to say that they aren't working on male/female versions? Maybe this is something tucked away for the future of the game and this is a short-term solution?
Journey to all fish: 1383/1729 (348 remaining) [79%]
Why are you disregarding what Yoshi-P said about male viera in the keynote.
Male viera do NOT come out of the forest. Making males playable would go against the Viera lore.
lore is not a valid enough reason, the same could be said for male miqo'te and here they are.
lore is made by them and can be changed by them as they want. gameplay should never be limited by lore.
it's obvious the reason is they're unconfortable making mae bunnies, and decided for a beast manly race instead, that no one asked for.
I have 2005 flashback here when they said the exact same thing about male mithras (miqotes) in FFXI, after community backlash (especially in the west).
Everyone's obsessed with male viera and i'm just sitting here like... why is no one trying to get female Hrothgar?
Y'all are racist.
