I'm glad OP is happy. I wonder how many will actually chose this race as an option. Because I don't think they resonated that well with the player base, especially the japanese one.

I was really excited to see Square-Enix combat against one of their biggest weaknesses of all races basically being 'human' or 'human with animal ears' by announcing a race that's much more bestial in nature.

I can't say I'll ever play one, but it'll be exciting to get into a duty finder and have one of my companions being something so unique.

The texture doesn't look too bad. It's just the lighting in the preview video that's not doing it any favours.

Not a big fan of the form though. They look weirdly shaped at certain angles.

Most of you must not know but back in the 1985-89 there was a really famous animation series called thundercats when we were really really young everyone would love them and wanted to become one.

I liked the Rothgar. It is good to see them go a bit further and beyond "Human with animal bit clued on them"

As an added bonus, now I will not feel like I'm the only big character when on duties.

I am glad we get Ronsos. But I wish they'd adjust the bodies a bit. I don't like that they basically have Roegadyn bodies. I want them buff, but maybe 20% slimmer than your average Roe. Kimahri should have been the template for the race.

I've waited a longtime for a more bestial race and salty over them being genderlocked... Meh.
