I'm not saying I'm not happy that they are not adding them. Tho I am sad they are not adding females for them. I'm saying I would have preferred them to model new bodies for them instead of just using he Roegadyn model.. I could be wrong and they do in fact have a new body model, but to my eyes it doesn't look like it.They look pretty sweet and many will be happy with them. One can downplay it and poo poo it but they've make their decision and personally I'm pretty happy with the look of the new race. I might even make an alt to play it cause it looks like fun. I animations alone were pretty awesome in my view.

I would have been more excited if we'd been given female Hothgars.

I like them, and will dabble in the character creator to make the Kimahri double they showed, it looked pretty cool
When you look at Kimahri, there is definitely more they could have done with the Ronsos. A more beastial emphasis on their hand and feet. Less of a strongman build like the Roegadyn and maybe more of a middle ground between male Roes and highlanders. I want Ronsos to be ripped.

I would have loved to see two complete male and female races yet realistically I don't think they have the dev resources to do two male and two female. I think we would have either gotten male and female Viera and nothing else or that given us Male Hrothgar and Female Viera. Perhaps they'll add them later but from their statements it doesn't appear we will be seeing any more races. The dev time adjusting all the gear has to be enormous.I'm not saying I'm not happy that they are not adding them. Tho I am sad they are not adding females for them. In all honestly "I" would have rather have had a complete race, either Viera or Hrothgar, and scraped or placed the other on the back burner.I would have loved to see two complete male and female races yet realistically I don't think they have the dev resources to do two male and two female. I have been staring at the reveal video and a Roegadyn character creation video for a while now. The body of the Hrothgar does look a little more v shaped than Roegadyn's but the Hrothgar have a hunch to them where as the Roe stand straight, so I'm not sure if that's causing the v shape to occur. I can't find a video of Roes running tho but I would swear that the running and sprinting animations are the same for both. Also the arms and legs look the same model wise. The legs for Hrothgar also have the same disproportionate look to them that Roes have where they look slightly to short for their huge bodies.
I do think I will creat one as another character :3
Same, I can't wait to toy with the character creation, but they do feel like needing a little polish as they're quite literally just Roes with coeurl heads and new animations. What honestly worries me is that they'll just leave it like that. Idk, I feel a "here, have a not-male-Viera" rather than "have a second, entirely unique race!" vibe to it, but then again I'm not exactly an optimistic person lol

At first they were kinda bleh when I saw them. But I kept rewatching the trailer and they're kinda starting look cool tbh.
