Yeah, that BRD set in the dats is highly unfinished. That pic isn't going to be a good representation.
That Paladin sword is sexy. A bit on the large side, but sexy.
Is ANYONE reminded of the Diablo 2 unique "Lightsabre" when they look at that Paladin sword? The texture and general look of the sword screams that oldschool unique. And guess what - the Paladin in D2 was one of the BEST classes to use Lightsabre with (max Fanaticism aura Paladin = crackspeed weapon swings).

Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend. He was so deadly, in fact, that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!
Cynicism aside, the limitation likely being referred to is the engine rendering it properly, while the engine is a cinematic engine (CT, currently) it'd take some work to have a 'hood on-hood off' sequence to work and look properly.
It's not a matter of "some simple geometry and textures making that much of a difference" -- It's a matter of execution, and if it's laziness, why do you think other MMOs haven't really done something like this before? The more detailed, complex and in-depth the MMO the less likely you are to see it done because of one simple reason: Memory.
This is why not every MMO out there has done it yet not because the developers were being lazy, but because there's legitimate reasons as to why it's not done as a standard.
apparently it is against ToS because i got banned just for posting the screen on here......People dislike the bard armor....i post a screen of a frontal view to show it actually looks good.....people start to like it....I get a temp ban. lol
