I don't feel this contributes to the issue either. We shouldn't compel the people who actually got what they wanted into the argument. The issue is deeper than just two races. It permeates pretty much everything SE does in FFXIV. Yoshi openly mocked the idea of him wearing the dancer attire. He openly said that the male devs weren't comfortable with the male bunny suit so they pawned it off to their female coworkers.

This issue has to do with how the developers focus more on what they want and are comfortable with than what their customers want. There's no adequate way to communicate and their excuse for why something isn't done is always "we're a small indie company please understand"

Even the Japan Fan Fest shows extreme preferential treatment with both the resources allocated to it over the other locations and how tickets were handled. I've pointed this stuff out for years but people are only now taking notice because it actually affects them now.

If you just sit by and continue giving a company money, they will assume that everything is fine and nothing will change.

If you are upset by a decision that the dev team makes, stop supporting them, vote with your wallet. By paying a subscription and purchasing the expansion, you are implicitly supporting all of the decisions that the dev team has made.

I was just thinking, there is already a lion mask in game (hw leveling set and arr pvp set). If you put that on a male roegadyn you have a hrothgar right now, minus new emotes. I would have been more excited about hrothgar if it had a unique body shape and not roe copy. I may just stay lala to enter those tiny dwarven homes.
