Mount Music? No more generic! How about Travel Orchestrion?

So I just bought the Eurekan Mount, cause I really don't wanna do all that content, and tahdah... the same generic mount music we've had since HW.

Look, the music ain't awful, but it sure as heck dull.

Why not let folks have a Travel Orchestrion? Makes sense to me. If your not going to give each mount a semi-unique mount music (which doesn't seem like a hard thing to do anyhow) then why not just let us have traveling music we can choose from our orchestrion list?

Or, give me a Flying Orchestrion Mount, and it can shuffle songs from my list. I mean that's a joke, but I'd take it :P.

You would make songs more valuable to every player in the game if we could use them more often, and using them while on a mount seemed like a great way to implement to overwrite the generic mount music.

or just give each mount their own music << You got as much music as mounts as it is.

in order to have a travel/ipod orchestrion the music you have available to you would have to be loaded into every zone you're in. there's a reason why orchestrions are restricted in their placement.

Also there are a limited amount of "slots" available for mounts and their music. this is why most of them only have the generic theme. Soken can switch it up but he needs ample reason and demand to do so.

I'd be down for this! Mount music does tend to get rather dull - especially if you don't cycle between a large amount. I normally just keep it turned off :/

You mean even the music played on your mount is straining their fragile servers? Maybe it's about time they replaced some of the old sellotape and fed the hamster.

I mean, if runescape could play what ever song you liked from the game at any time, I don't see why FFXIV can't do it.

I'm surprised people play the music they have now. I turned the option off and haven't looked back.

While I agree 100%, it's only more data to load every time you zone in. Even if this is a small issue to handle there is still that damn FATE notification/music that interrupts what was a fantastic ride.
