Not to mention that I do remember hearing that the Mog Station was one of the few avenues of money making that mostly goes back into FFXIV; though I'm having a hell of a time sourcing that claim so if anyone has a source that proves or disproves that I'd be grateful! Also most of the exclusive items that aren't event based on the Mog Station these days were either exclusively designed for it /or/ turn overs from international events for the game. Korea and China both have events that we aren't privvy to in the rest of the world and rather than keep the items from us entirely as they used to do, we now get the chance to get them off the Mog Station instead. It's not exactly ideal, but for me it is a better alternative to never getting those items to begin with.

Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of the prices either, but as the saying goes you need to vote with your wallet. I stopped buying most things from the Mog Station when their prices grew beyond what I was comfortable with.
