Turns out i have to link my Discord account to my Lodestone and my E-mail to be able to make use of it.

Which is turning out to be rather problematic for multiple different reasons.

Join Discord, can't even use the thing without jumping through hoops.

Can't even see the pictures telling me how i'm supposed to go about it.

no one in BA is an elderly lady with a bad back.

also ever consider maybe that seemingly healthy guy has a herniated disk? or has worked a 20 hour shift and can barely stand. I live in nyc, respecting people isnt a one way street. Old ladies here rarely ask for seats, and sometimes give up seats to young children or people with bags, or people who look tired. And if someone doesnt want to give up their seat, im not going to villify them, i dont know whats going on in their lives

I think there are some bots that link to your character and can pull some basic lodestone stuff up. I guess the EU ones are using them for some reason, seems unnecessary...

DM = Drect Message, like private messages. and I honestly wouldn't do that either, that's weird. Sounds like it's just for bot functionality.

DM is direct message, so it will send you a personnel message. That process seems unnecessary.

And yet it is required, MANDATORY, in order to gain access to the part of the Discord that deals with matching parties together to organize runs.
