Eureka: Drop rate of Magia increasing items needs to be buffed

Or need another means of acquiring them.

Why this hasn't been done in Pyros is pretty baffling. Lamebrix (Dice), Ying-Yang (Dice), Skoll (Claw) are hard enough to spawn, and then only a very few people get the items.

It's the same in Hydatos. Even trying for a full lockout multiple times, I have only Ceto once.

This simple change will help the content come Shadowbringer when Eureka will be largely empty allowing you to solo more things.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

As far as I know, it's a guaranteed drop for one participant in the fate. So if you did it solo, you get it 100%. But with a group of 144, that's 0.7% chance.
    Maybe I'm wrong though.

You're not going to be soloing any of those fates, even in near empty instances.

If you have a full party, you can kill any NM, since the fate scale down drastically to the number, so with 8 that's a 12.5% chance. I solo'ed the bunny fates easily when I was alone in an instance. When there was another one with me, there was a noticeable difference in boss HP.

I'm fairly certain that this is not the case, though I have no more proof than you do.

Bunny Fates are completely different than NM Fates. Especially the more "super" strong fates like Ying-Yang and Skoll.

I cant tell from an dead instance when we did Skoll, we barely got 38 ppl, it took almost the full timer and yet no one got the item soo...
-And yes we did several other fates before, so its not like ppl left right before it or smt.

People have low-manned bosses like King Arthro that supposedly drop their item for a limited number of people in the FATE and gotten nothing from it, so it seems the drop rates are just that miserable.

I'd wager it's probably something in the range of 5-10% per player in the FATE since I've only gotten a single Molech horn and Lamebrix die after close to 20 kills of both.

But yeah, they seriously do need to buff the drop rate on these or give an alternate acquisition method, such as making them rare drops from lockboxes.

I’m not sure about the Magicite drops, but I know with the Cassie Earring, there is a chance that they won’t drop at all. I think that only happens with really small groups, as I once killed her in an instance of roughly 20 people, and none of us got the Earring. I don’t know if this is the case with the Magicite upgrades, but it could be possible to try and “prevent” people from getting it in fresh instances with not a lot of players.
Implausible sounding, I know. But this is SE...

Low chance in the regular lockboxes and a higher chance in the heated / moist lockboxes is probably a good idea.
