Nah. I'll play it though. I'm still a DRK/SAM/MCH main though.

While yes it does, the queue will default to "DPS are DPS" after a while. Are you sure that your results represent reality accurately? Are they reproducable, and have you factored out confirmation bias?
I ask this because, as a RDM main (and MCH co-main) through the whole expansion, I have not noticed 17 minute queue times outside of off-prime time queues, and have never noticed that outrageous a difference between my queuetimes as a RDM and as a DRG.
I'm merely stating what the duty window shows when I queue into something. If I queue it with RDM or BRD it tends to show above 10 mins, normally 15-17. When I queue as a SAM, it's between 5 and 8 mins. That's just what the duty window says. Weither I wait that long or not I couldn't tell you as I normally turn the idle camera on and wait for the queue to pop. While yes it does, the queue will default to "DPS are DPS" after a while. Switching? No, I'm a healer for life.
But I'll play the $#!t out of it.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
DRG will always be my main, but I'll level it for fun!!
Uh...I'm content to try out dancer just to spice up the gameplay, but otherwise, I'm a really bad tank.
My tank friend is gonna try out gunbreaker, but he loves his dark knight too much.
Well, at least I'm trying...
Its always been a thing. It was way more noticeable when BRD was way more popular and there was only DRG and MNK for melee DPS.While yes it does, the queue will default to "DPS are DPS" after a while. For some proof that it is true, the 2.25 patch notes say they fixed duty finder to display the different times:

"The average waiting time for Melee DPS and Ranged DPS will now be displayed separately in the Duty Finder."
Most likely not but should Dancer be implemented (and as healer) i would most likely switch to that
