Need to address the Eureka in the room.

I’ve never once held back my hated for all of Eureka. Something about it makes me turn the game off. Adding it to 5.0 will seriously hurt the game. With the exception of starlight, all of the holiday events were horrible and lacking. This is of course my opinion.

Do you think the game can survive more Eureka?

I still won't touch the content with a ten foot pole because it's antithetical to what I enjoy in MMO's, but most of my friends seem to have at least entered a tentative sort of acceptance with Eureka as it currently stands. None of them think it's good, but they no longer hate it with a fiery passion. I think the real test as to whether or not Eureka would be a success in 5.0 is if they tie much wanted items to it again like they did for Stormblood. Because while I have friends who don't mind Eureka, all but one of them have stated they wouldn't bother with the content if not for the Relic.

I used to hate it, but then after awhile something broke in me and then I started liking it! I'm even working my way through BA, so there's hope for you yet! Just keep forcing yourself to do eureka stuff till it happens.

Honestly at this point I'm likely to try it when 5.0 drops and they nerf it into the ground, but as of now it's still very much not my cup of tea. I am glad it's gotten to a place where other people are enjoying themselves however!

When you say that, you make it sound like Eureka caused a massive blow to the game. While in fact, the numbers show otherwise. More people are doing it compared to the previous relic style. So to SE that's a good thing.

If it did cause massive damage to the game, when what is it and how? And believe it or not, there is actually a healthy amount of people who enjoyed Eureka and look forward to what they will do in 5.0 (I myself am one of them).

I only really hated Pagos.

I think Eureka could use some improvements. Make things less about chaining mobs to spawn NMs and add more variety in how you get your crystals etc. But Pagos was the only of the four zones that was painful to get through IMO.
