    What you described is that you signed up for a free trial of Prime, didn't realize it, and then it charged you after a month because you didn't unsubscribe.

    The issue is that you didn't realize you signed up for a free trial of Prime. It's actually pretty easy to not notice with how they have it smoothly set up. And that seems to be what you have a problem with.

    But Amazon "screwing people over all the time" is simply false.
