Thing is Quina's race is gendered it is just Quina that is not gendered, Now if they added a race that wasn't gendered would they make a single universal model with more customizing options or would they make a female looking one and a male looking one but they still are genderless with less customizing options, the latter would probably be more accepted as people could tailor more to their specific desires more easily.

I would be fine with a genderless race so long as i can make it look like a male

As long as it's truly genderless and not a cop out like the "technically genderless but really an excuse to make a race of blue skinned space babes" Asari from Mass Effect.

As for the he/she problem in dialogues, you could just lore it so that while they are technically genderless and androgynous they could still take masculine/feminine identities or pronouns for the benefit of other races. Like the way Chinese people sometimes take English names when they travel/communicate overseas.

I mean aesthetically wise the only MALES we have are au ra and roe 2s tribes.

The other races are pretty much extremely femine with both genders...

Though some localizations treat Quina as a female, the game mechanics treat him/her more as a male. Quina is affected by the Lamia's "Entice" ability, like all male characters.

But Quina can also equip several female only add-ons, so it seems the game treats Quina as both rather than one or the other. Also the headpiece Lamia's Tiara is female only but Quina can equip it, so the Entice ability kinda contradicts it. Also some localisations/languages also struggle to define male or female in wording so it's not always obvious.
