You are supposed to get a free vial of Fantasia after having completed lvl 50 quest - The Ultimate Weapon. This is an item that EVERYONE receives for FREE when they complete this quest, EVERYONE except someone who PAID for a Tales of Adventure. So if you PAY to advance in the game, you will not get this FREE item that everyone is supposed to receive. It is not written on the purchase page that you will not receive this item. I received Tales of Adventure as a present from a friend and it did not alert me when I used it that I will not be receiving the free vial of fantasia for the final quest.

Yes totally agree with you should be free specifically for those who play hobbits / gnomes / something and finally want to change.

Hm.. yeah this is a serious issue. People can crap on jump potions all they like but if quest are skipped via mog station this should include any and all quest rewards. I hope things get resolved.

And to others who think it's "magical entitlement". A service was purchased and should provide what it advertises. If this were over a material purchase no one would bat an eye but when it's digital everyone gets really toxic. idk why that is.

*points at the Job/scenario Skip item guide* It does say what you get. You get exactly what it says.Nowhere in it's reading does it say "Includes all the little consumable things you would have gotten for doing quests normally." This isn't toxicity towards the scenario skip. This is people assuming that you're going to get everything when it doesn't expressly say you will. It's not a "Rip Off" because you literally get what it says it will grant you.

This is a skip potion - it skips the content and does not provide any of the material rewards from that content. No armour, no weapons, no gil and no potions. Thats why you get the token 300,000 gil in Allagan platinum pieces.

However I'd strongly advise everyone not to use the skip potion unless they are running on an alt character and do not want to go through the motions of the lower level content. Is it worth the money? Probably yes based upon how long it would take someone to get through that content without the skip potion. You miss out on a hell of a lot more though - a darn sight more that 300,000 gil worth of stuff for starters.

How long does it take someone to do the content? Not really that long - Mono Chrome was "born" on January 23 and I have not been 100% focused on the MSQ but the main job is now 69 and he is almost at the end of the original release Stormblood stuff. Had I used a skip potion and a level boost I'd be further ahead but it would not have been as much fun and I would not have experienced so much and understood the mechanics.

So.....

I create a new character, boost it to level 60 and then scenario skip also and my inventory should be magically filled with all rewards from the quests that were automatically completed? Any idea how many items that would be? Far more than you could carry for sure.

Where you get the pricetag of three dollars from? It's 10 dollars and at most 7 when mogstation sale is going on. Pretty pricey if you ask me.

It's not an oversight. The skip potion is to skip having to do the MSQ. It doesn't entitle you to all the rewards you get for doing the MSQ. The few items they do give you can only be obtained by completing the MSQ quests and have no other sources.

There is another source for Fantasia. Use it if you want one.

Considering you claim the skip potion was a gift from a friend, perhaps you should complain to your friend that they didn't also choose to gift you with Fantasia at the same time.

To be fair you didn't technically complete the quest, it was just marked as completed on a log so you didn't have to complete it and could move on to other things.
