At this point it's just going in circles. Bottom line if someone cant take the time to read what a product entails before buying that is on them. Nobody else, besides it let you avoid the 300 back and forth quests to get into Ishgard didn't it? Be Salty all you want but you dont need three threads all stating the same thing. Hell I've made purchases I've regretted myself but I'm not going to go on a tri thread tirade about it.

This shows everything you get with your story skip and the link to this side is in the mogry store before you purchase the story skip.
The only person to blame is your friend who presented the story skip to you for not informing you about the consequences.

No free vial of Fantasia with purchase of Tales of Adventure!?!?!
You are supposed to get a free vial of Fantasia after having completed lvl 50 quest - The Ultimate Weapon. This is an item that EVERYONE receives for FREE when they complete this quest, EVERYONE except someone who PAID for a Tales of Adventure. So if you PAY to advance in the game, you will not get this FREE item that everyone is supposed to receive. It is not written on the purchase page that you will not receive this item. I received Tales of Adventure as a present from a friend and it did not alert me when I used it that I will not be receiving the free vial of fantasia for the final quest.

If the item is from the quest being completed and the skip potion just checks the quest as auto complete, the it sounds like an oversight. OP, have you even submitted a ticket about this?

I have made a bug report and they just said that I won't get the item because I did not complete the quest.

My frustration is - what is the point of me paying 20$ more if I am going to miss out on something that will cost 10$ extra ?

The mount/minions are activated on your account automatically (you don't get the items to do it yourself). The Fantasia is a (consumable) item. You don't get any of the actual items for any of the quests that are skipped, not even the Gil. That's why they include 300,000 gil along with the purchase of Tales of Adventure.

Yes, I have submitted a ticket and they said the same thing - I didn't get the item because I did not complete the quest. Then they suggested I go to the forums to leave feedback, so here I am

It does say it really clearly:

Achievements, Mounts, and Minions

Players will obtain all achievements, titles, mounts, and minions associated with the main scenario of A Realm Reborn.

Hm.. yeah this is a serious issue. People can crap on jump potions all they like but if quest are skipped via mog station this should include any and all quest rewards. I hope things get resolved.

And to others who think it's "magical entitlement". A service was purchased and should provide what it advertises. If this were over a material purchase no one would bat an eye but when it's digital everyone gets really toxic. idk why that is.
