It's not the fates fault. If you're talking about fates like the bunny fate, those are different becuase of the amount of mobs you can kill and generate enmity. Heck you can even get gold just by being solo and fighting the last mob there at 50% of its health.

But when it's the NM fates like Pazuzu and 143 players are there, then it's harder to generate the enmity that can ensure gold when you're solo. I've even tested the effect of the stegian Ash on ixion long ago. Using the Ash and being solo and hitting all you can gives a gold. Without it, it's a silver.

Edit: I stand corrected. I just tested it on Molech starting at 94% of his HP and spamming only Jolt and Impact and got gold. I'll test it on a level 60NM like PW and Ovni to see how it goes also.

Yeah. RDMs are lean, mean enmity generating machines. Imo RDM is simply a god in Eureka. I would play one while leveling and nothing else. Then I'd switch to SAM for the most part unless RDM was needed, mainly because it is easier to dodge a lot of AoEs since I'm used to playing melee the most.
