I've been using the discord and it's awesome. The only problem are the players that steals portals and instant leave, just because they can, and because it's not reportable.

It is reportable. They caused you to lose one spot and if they took a tank spot, then it might completely ruin the entire run.

Of course there are new players that might have done it without knowing or just wanted to try something. Those I wouldn't report. The ones that do it on purpose, they do it more than once, so they get known for that and should be reported.

You say report them, but you should probably specify this is to the discord channels admins.
Taking a portal isn’t against any SE rules, they’ve even clarified that assuring it so.

Just grab a portal if there's a premade, pretty much, unless you want to wait 2+ hours to get in.

Someone else will waste 2+ hours getting into an organized run just so you come around take a portal just because you don't want to wait the 2+ hours (avg is actually 1 hour), don't you think that's a little selfish? I get that everyone wants to clear the content, but you're coming here as wanting the content but not put any effort. Why not try to organize a premade within the map instead of screwing up 55 other people?

Waiting around constantly instance hopping hoping to get in an instance that doesn't already have a group in BA isn't effort. It's a pointless nuisance.

I got kicked from the discord from "taking a portal " I just wanted to play.

You were kicked from the Discord for having malicious intent in taking the portal. I was in the same instance that you shouted "target spotted" in chat and took a portal that would have been taken by a tank in the first 6 initial parties. Because I have no proof that you scouted the area to specifically take a portal that was eyed by a tank, I will just call that a coincidence.

Sure, you had the right to race that player for the portal, but the other 55 players in the dungeon also have a right to acknowledge that, for that particular instance, you were not playing nicely. If you communicated with us through text chat, most of us, myself included, would have agreed to put you in a party and work with you to clear the dungeon. Instead, you refused to communicate other than to shout a one-liner in shout chat.

It's interesting to see how players can manipulate and/or exaggerate recounts of their experiences in-game on the official forums, especially without accounts from multiple other players. Furthermore, while this is an anecdotal account - most of the BA run griefers I have seen have used the Aether Baldesion Arsenal Discord server themselves, which is ironic. Honestly, Square Enix needs to implement an easier way for players to organize in-game in order to sidestep all this discord drama.

No one denies that, it's incredibly annoying for everyone involved, but those 56 people go through it to clear the content, why don't you have any empathy for those people who spent the 1-2 hours getting together and basically trash all the time they spent organizing just because you didn't feel like waiting? Why do you think you're entitled to run with them while at the same time refusing to cooperate with them?

If you just want to be carried then say it as it is.

Can't get carried when you can't even get in the dungeon...not that I asked for the former. I simply seek the latter in a time frame that doesn't require 3-4 hours or more. No, I don't expect nor want 15 mins clears of the entire thing...we have enough of that with the regular 4 man dungeons. I don't mind spending a hour or two in BA. It's the silliness that is instance hopping and hoping for a clean instance when there's all sorts of ways such a thing could be dealt with by the devs...but it won't happen any time soon.
