White Partitions as walls?

I've seen images of people that use white partitions as walls in their entire house/apartment in an array of colors. Is there a way to get them completely flush to the wall so they don't stick out at all? Like some sort of glitch? Or is the payoff of doing that is that you have a smaller space.

You can drop them straight from the storage to get them closer but that's very hard to line up because you can't move them after (but you can rotate them). Usually they just sacrifice some space to do that trick.

Ah, I may try that. It's just an apartment so I don't mind taking time to get it right if it means I won't have to give up space. Thanks. We need an item like the wall tiles that's just plain white and can be dyed.

I *believe* that the stage partition may be able to be fit closer to the wall, and it's really thin. Maybe give that a try?
