This is gonna totally be abused; and a lot of good players are gonna get banned because of other people that can't take any criticism or just vaguely dislikes you personally.
None, but said company does have SLA's to meet which can affect pay/job secuirty. And lo and behold, fastest way to solve a ticket with wording as broad as it is? Warnining or Ban, with no real means to contest by the player.
What is my freedom now?
http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...6&id=5382&la=1What kind of company would ever specifically pay their GMs based on how many permabans they handed out?
Also read the account penalty policy that is linked in the original post. There are five levels of penalty before someone is permabanned IF they are repeatedly reported and those reports are upheld.
The first two levels are "caution" and "warning", and there is no requirement that your next penalty will be more severe (unless you've already been banned before).
Then three levels of temporary bans.
If someone gets reported and judged to be in the wrong that many times, I highly doubt they are just being unfairly targeted. Especially if (as has been said in regards to the new system) the GM will be investigating the reporter as well, to get both sides of the story.
I read the more important stuff which already violates its own policy, which I am offended by the following:
・Discriminatory expressions based on thinking (Way to go on turning people especially paying customers into less than humans)/
gender identity (Nobody cares)
・Obscene/indecent expressions (too vague)
・Actions that inflict emotional distress using content related to historical events or crimes (I have mixed feelings on this due to people actually suffer PTSD from said events and crimes but I understand and all they need to do is say "I don't want to talk about it" and I will leave it alone)
・Disclosing or indicating personal information such as contact details with the aim of meeting up in the real world (This one is also vague but I understand that no one wants to deal with someone else's parents or wants their expectations shattered, so again mixed feelings)
・Expressions that any reasonable person would find offensive (Wait there are actually reasonable people? also reasonable people would not be easily offended it's just special snowflakes that are easily offended so this one could have been worded better)
・Expressions that compel a playing style(by "compel" do you mean "convince" or do you mean "force"? stop being vague)
・Expressions that contravene public order and morals (Square-Enix has already metaphorical shot themselves in the foot by having the GMs who probably don't even play the game by having them play "Thought Police" instead

All you need to do is watch the video...
Also I just use the blacklist function if I find some REALLY ANNOYING.
It's also going to be super easy to bait people into something that could result in a ban under the new rules. If someone deliberately plays ice mage to bait reports for obstruction, but they report the others for trying to enforce a playstyle, who wins? If someone goes to a populated area and starts talking about flat Earth nonsense as bait, does everyone that disagrees get banned for unilaterally rejecting their opinion?
This is basically the door SE just opened. And I fear so much of this will depend on the personal take of GMs replying to incidents. It's also going to be super easy to bait people into something that could result in a ban under the new rules. Surely “dismiss the ticket” is just as fast, if not faster, and likely requires less investigation and/or paperwork.
Eh, people are tired of debating Viera/BLU and Eureka actually sounds like it's not a failure this time (besides the weapon models, apparently?) so they have to have something to debate. I'm not really sure a voice of reason is going to convince anybody here.
