Like how your trying to brush off the effort and work the dev team put in to make the weapons?
You don't need to like it, and you don't need to need to be silent in you opinion, but it's really poor taste to force a change simply because " I don't like it, therefore it's bad"

I never mentioned people couldn't like them, but in my opinion these weapons don't match the quality of earlier relics.

Theres a different between "Eh, the weapons don't look good" and "Petition to change", one is a discussion, the other is a protest.

Doesn't mean someone has to come putting words into other peoples mouths they never said or suggested at.
And are we not free to protest? You don't have to agree with it, but that doesn't make it fundamentally wrong.

There's definitely nothing fundamentally wrong with your "protest", but if you just think about it for a minute, you'd realise how unreasonable it is considering there is no precedent for it ever. The amount of work it takes to make the models (and the amount it would take to re-make them) makes your request completely unreasonable to begin with.

No. Cause this is the net and people will be people. /s But seriously, you're fighting an uphill battle as your opinion isn't one shared with a good chunk of people, not only that you're asking for the dev team to completely change what a good bit of people like. None of those people are going to give you a hug for effort :c.
