If I'm not allowed to leave a toxic party .. then your rule is missed up period.. i shouldn't have to put up with them being toxic trolling and then i don't even get a mount archivement like a tank nty

Nope. These rules unfortunately are extremely vague and ripe for abuse. If there's one thing I know about power, it is that it is easily abused. There's really no reason not to think that it would eventually come to that.

But who is more of a nuisance? A team that intentionally sets out to fulfill the conditions to spawn a S rank then calls it out publicly and give several minutes to allow even those on potato PC and original PS4 to make it, or someone who also heard the public call who loads into an area pretty fast, runs over to the S rank, and immediately pulls it, therefore denying others with slower load times a chance to get credit on an S rank? We both know who the real one causing nuisance behavior is and to pretend otherwise is just being obtuse.

Yeah... except on my Server, the ppl that work on the spawns, make the calls, and wait 2-3 minutes for ppl to get there before pulling THEN get called the early pullers by ppl that show up late (for whatever reason... they were afk, they play the game on a toaster, they're hunt shell only gets relays from relays from relays from relays from relays from another shell...), so who is in the wrong there.


I had dropped a like initially because I felt like they'll finally be able to take more drastic and immediate actions against bots with these rules (the bots in PvP and dungeons especially bother me), but after reading over some of the Nuisance Behavior... yeah...

Like... what does that even mean? Like if I join a roulette as Tank and I do a big pull through he first pack, and then the Healer says they want me to do small pulls. Now what? Are they in the wrong already since they're compelling me to do small pulls instead of big pulls? If I continue to do big pulls will I then be in the wrong for forcing them to play to a certain style?


And then tack on this...

"Obstruction of play" means all behaviour in general that obstructs another person's game play. Below is a non-exhaustive list of examples of obstruction of play:

This means obstructing another person's game play by intentionally leaving the game or disconnecting from the server.

So fine... the healer wants to do small pulls... but eh... I don't want to deal with that so I'd rather just leave. I mean I assume I'd get the 30 minute penalty if I left, but can I also be dinged for this too? They could report me and say that I abandoned them in a dungeon they needed to clear for whatever reason?

I'd like to ask for a GM/Staff clarification on one topic:

・Improper expulsion voting
This means excluding another person by manipulation of expulsion voting.

Square Enix's GM Team has long held that "differing playstyles" is a valid reason to vote dismiss another party member. (One of the problems with this is virtually any vote dismissal can be justified as "differing playstyles," regardless of the true reason).

Is this policy update a change to that stance?

According to the rules, there isn't. If that person wants to main tank EX primals in Sword Oath, you will respect their playstyle or your ass is out the door.

To me it seems like this is kinda ment to put extra stress on healers ive healed many "friend groups" that trolls their healer standing in flames no stance and now ppl in that postion cant even leave without getting in trouble lol

The intentional disconnect thing is aimed squarely at the players who are doing it to skip the cut scenes in the MSQ roulette.

Also the SCH that "DC'd" right as Mustadio was pulled the other night, then kept popping back on and disappearing again as he realised he hadn't been kicked yet (I don't really need a cohealer when I've got a good group & I don't like "rewarding" DC-ers by giving them a penalty-free out).

Now, he could have just had a terrible connection but I would have expected him to actually say something about "sorry, bad connection" or at least move from the entrance of the monastery... kinda suspicious that his connection just got that bad, suddenly.

Pretty sure if you are a stand up player then you have nothing to worry about. Yes there maybe things that could potentially be close to passing a prohibited line, but the GM's have access to any chat logs or teleport activity so will know if a report is valid to investigate or not, they are also human and will use common sense when passing judgement.
