If that happen to me i would make sure to never get the aggro at all.
Healers were trolling you by not raising and healing, you should let them all die lol.

- Snek Boi Ex with a Lancer.
- Tsuki Ex with a Thaumaturge.
- The Burn with a Conjurer.
- The Burn with a Lancer.
- The Burn with an Arcanist.
- The Burn with an Arcanist... Again.
- Doma Castle with a Rogue.
- Ala Mhigo with a Puglist.
- o11 with a Gladiator.
And finally...
- o9s with an Archer AND a Marauder

Its not as common now, but you still see the trolls

Had an entire alliance with no job stones (except for one random very confused drg) in Rabanastre, once. All bailed after first boss, too.

So this a story from a long time ago (3.2) and it was my worst ever time in duty finder
I had queued for my expert roulette as ast shortly after getting my tome chest and wanted to see how it feels with it this chest was the healer Shiva body piece and i tailored a glamour around it to see if i'd like it going forward, unfortunately for me this was a trigger for the tank i had gotten in Antitower it actually started off alright with a comment "Oh wow can't believe someone managed to make that work".

I said "Thank you it took a bit of time to get things how i wanted it to look" their reply was "Shame you still look like a f****t" I was stunned i couldn't believe what had just be said i just continued healing and we got to the 1st boss and during the part where both me and tank got turned into frogs he starts saying "Bet you can't sing as good as his huh f*g" I am very anxious at this point and i decided i would vote kick them after the boss i'd rather had to wait for new tank than continue, unfortunately it didn't go through both Dps have been silent the entire time and will be silent for rest of story.

So rather than eat the penalty as it was very late Monday night just needed that last expert to cap i braved on we got to the mimics and now the tank is being more aggressive saying "Bet you like to bend over and take it like a B**** while opening chests" and "Yea you like a pounding" and "Better heal my ass you love to look at s***" I am now at the point where i am barely holding it together then we get to Ziggy and another comment "Oh look something you can relate to get it cus you like to ride hard things B****" we kill Ziggy and i am wanting to leave at this point screw my static getting my tomes cap that week they'll understand but my kind nature didn't want to screw over the two dps who hadn't sided with either of us at that point it was just one boss left afterall.

Onwards we go and some of the worst stuff on way to Calcabrina the tank says "Oh look the mammets look like small children something you'll never get to experience huh", "Bet your used to being upside down huh S***" and because i had tears in my eyes at this point and i accidentally let him die to last pull "What had your face pinned to the ground or something you had to make me bend over and take it too what a f*****g waste of skin you B**** just get me up so I can get out of here you B****y useless f****t" we killed Calcabrina i left faster than ever before filed the report next day and was up rest of night in tears i still get upset over this and thinking there are people like this or worse out there. This story hits more close to home as i recently came out to my family with just my father left to tell who openly said he has always wanted a Daddy's little girl.

Now i want to have a good story to go with that one to try brighten readers up so here goes queued for Orbornne Monastary and had a new tank in the party they were very nervous about it so everyone said stay in tank stance until your comfortable and just try and keep hate as best as possible if you see another tank pull the boss feel free to go into dps stance sword oath in this case, Mt did die to Mustadio TB idk what happened but our tank took aggro and just used cds whenever the healers worked around this and rest of fight went fine afterwards healers + myself explained how cds work on Paladin and when it's best to pop them this is when i also noticed people in the other alliances giving help as well they must have noticed within the chaos this took me by surprise and instead of anyone getting upset the tank took the advice on hand for when it came to Cid their cds weren't perfect but a much better improvement, fast forward to Ultima transition and alliance C with Mt goes down so i explain while healers are healing what to look out for tank wise for Ultima part 2 Redemption being a very hard hitting TB and need to try to position Ultima for crystals as soon as they can see, they didn't mess up once and eventually we killed her alliance C was apologizing for dieing no one bemoaned and in fact had a laugh saying it has happened to us all at least once XD etc everyone in our alliance said how good the tank was even some others in the other alliances did the last pieces of advice we gave was focus on your tanking 1st then worry about your dps but after seeing how you have been won't be long till you do worry about dps with a XD they left and after that run i don't even care that i got no loot that was the good side of the community i love to see ^^

Raiding with idiots

As a fellow tank, I feel you Kallistra. You did the right thing by trying to pick up the boss and giving him back to the *coughcough*MT*coughcough* (though personnally I keep the boss to myself until I die or tankswap.) I hope this won't turn you off from tanking as I think it can be really fun. Like another person said, I would be more than happy to have you as a tank...that is if we were on the same server x).

I guess you could say the heart of the cards were with you on that run and that you sent that d*ckhead tank to the Shadow Realm.

As for me, I queued for Rabanastra as a SMN to get the coin. Nobody was new...I repeat nobody was new.
-Mateus: Nobody picks up the bubbles or focuses on the bubbles adds and I had to remind them of doing that. Tanks didn't pick up adds which led to a wipe.
The answer I got from my complaints? That one: "^^."
-Hashmal: It was like release day. Nobody doing any of the mechanics, people dying to the obvious and no Caster / Ranger LB 3 (except for me) during the add phase. We wiped twice on this guy. Let's just say that I quit.

I would have just stayed silent through the run then let the tank die on the final boss, tell them that "they'd been thinking about me and my rear for long enough that they clearly wanted me to f* them, so I did, I hope they enjoyed it", then leave and let them find another healer.

Tomes aren't worth abuse. One day extra in runs won't destroy you. Of course, it's also worth just flirting like crazy to make them uncomfortable and making them put up with you but... yeah. I'm glad you at least reported them.

What is it with the party finder and people expecting a carry without doing their homework on ex and savage fights?

yesterday I was helping a healer friend through o4s as they wanted to unlock UcoB and then we get a Summoner and a Bard.

Both of which kept dying to Blizzard 3 at the beginning,overlapping their fire 3 explosions with others and dying to the falling zombie head in Decisive Battle(not the tentacles...not the knockback...the falling head itself)

I keep asking them time and again if there is any mechanic that confuses them and they didn't say a single thing,so they keep dying and because of that me and my friend kept eating 2 fire 3s during Blackhole every single time.

And of course as they saw that they couldn't be easily carried while they sit on every aoe imaginable,they leave after 3 pulls.

I said before many pages ago that I'd be happy to teach a fight as long as people are willing to learn and ask about what mechs that they have issues with,but those two are one of many examples on the party finder where people hitch a ride on the pf expecting a carry only to find out they can't easily cheese every mechanic and think they can do the same thing from early ex primals into a savage fight.

It doesn't help they had low quality Rakshasa gear that,while has high item level,have garbage stats

I'm still baffled at how many people still fails Hashmal even when no one in any of the alliances is new...

Funnily enough on Orbonne during the phase transition for Ultima,we wiped on Ruination phase cuz both Alliance A AND B died to the Half-Room Dive bomb from Demi-Hashmal which meant only one alliance on the platform

Ty both i've since have hardened up at bit and won't take stuff like that anymore it was just the 1st case of such verbal abuse i had taken and it was just the shock of it

Aw, mate. *hugs* for that first story. <3 for you. Stupid tank. Hopefully one day, if not already, they learn the error of their ways.
