So today I had the joke boss Lahabrea during trials and for strange unexplained reason, when the Dimensional tear phase started, one of the tanks didn't want us at all to go inside and do the mechanics. And then threw a hissy fit over it.

When that happened, the boss only had 10% of his life left and LB 3 was ready, so maybe he wanted us SAM (and only SAM as DPS) to use it? What do you guys think?

So the Chrysalis (the boss there is Nabriales)?
...Hold on... I thought it wasn't possible to escape going into the dimensional tear? Like you get sucked in no matter what once the bleed debuff runs out. I'm confused about what that tank was attempting to accomplish.

Anywho u have to go inside the dimensional tear otherwise the fight won't proceed,

unless he planned a DPS check with that LB3(which is impossible on a random duty finder group),he has no right throwing a hissy fit for something as small as this when it isn't much time lost if u go inside,LB the dimensional tear,do the tank meteors and bam u escape the tier and beat Nabriales's ass to submission.

I got a new rig a couple days ago, so I was running a bunch of random Raid Roulettes/Trial Roulettes to try and get used to the new resolution (went from a 15" laptop screen in 1080p to a 24" monitor in 1440p so my HUD is now way smaller lol) and I got Seiryu normal mode in trials. I've only done normal mode twice, so I was trying to remember mechanics to explain to the 3 new people who weren't sure what to do.

But the WAR wasn't having any of that. They kept initializing countdowns while I was trying to explain to one BLM how to tell if you need to run in (the donut) or run out (the yin-yang symbol), despite me cancelling them. So, on the third pull, I may have let him die because he annoyed me. >.>

Some people just have no patience. At least I got comms from the new people for explaining the mechanics basically on the fly.

Probably wanted a "hay guise I did this awesome unheard of tactic that sheeple won't think of" story. Which is dumb. Just do the dang fight and then go make up stories, not like anybody is going to care know.

Only thing I can think of is they wanted everyone to run away so the debuff (Blight? Been awhile) falls off. If you get sucked into the tear with it on it'll get extended and likely last the whole phase.

There are people like that who looooove to shove their own strategy down people's throat rather than doing what works on every pug group(hence pug strats)

I ran into a similar situation but with my weekly 2 chests on o10s.

the PF I joined had 4 people from a static who had to force their new wacky strategy rather than spryo strats which worked on all pug groups I was in,of course we die,I tell them to use Spyro strat and the 4 static people shout at me "No don't be an idiot".....and guess what?I lay the markers,we use spyro and we literally cleared it on the second pull

There is a reason why pug strats exist,its because to have one unified strategy that even strangers on a party finder can do comfortably,get their loot and be on their way.Or heck even on duty finder trials some fights have certain norms that everyone knows and do all the time to comfortably finish the fight and easily tell to whoever happened to be new to the instance during the queue

If they insist on using their wacky speedrun/parse strat they probably should do a private pf for that instead of doing a public one without telling people outside their group how to do it

Over the past week i have
-Still not had a bard jacket drop from Orbonne
-had some absolutely awful Omega 11/12 runs which has made me live up to Rez Mage name
-I'm just going to resign myself to never getting a Seiryu Clear tbh. I keep getting parties where tanks can't tankswap properly for Cursekeeper (especially the one after the towers/stack). At this point I don't even care about farming it for a dog, I just want a clear and the bard weapon ;~;

Why is it that healers and DPS in Tsukuyomi Normal Mode always insist on standing in front of the boss when she uses her tankbuster?

And then some of them go "OMG TANK! U KILLED ME! U SUCK!!!11!"

Every time i get put in there by Trial Roulette there is at least two people who insist on stacking on me, causing them to get killed instantly.
And the rest of the party likes to spread out around her in a circle so that if i try to move and point her in another direction there is always at least one person in the line of fire other than myself.

Why? Just why?
