Interestingly enough, aside from gore and crude humor, WoW seems to have either equivalent or milder content descriptors compared to FFXIV.Id also like to point out, FFXIV has a T rating, the same rating WoW has. You can get drunk in WoW. Claiming you cant do a drunk emote (and even a smoke emote) doesnt hold weight if we have T rated games that do both as it already is. Also, keep in mind that we see characters actually smoke in both games, and one of the housing items is a cigar. A lit one, gently smoldering. So yes, we could have one as far as I can tell, and no it shoudlnt change the games rating.

Our characters have to have some degree of fitness to defeat primal and run as long as they do. Characters being drunk, or being smokers who can just kill a primal easily right after seems a little immersion breaking.

Oh my god, you're just bullshitting at this point. So laws are optional now? I don't know how anyone's taking you seriously anymore.

Lol say that 2 masters of drunken boxing lol hell you can be fit and smoke in fact you can be better fighter drunk
Laws that are made by over protective parents like federal laws 4 games, movies radio are optional if people had a backbone they could force those ppl 2 not be so up tight business in the entertainment industry have more power than those who make those unreasonable guidelines
Also ps idc if ppl take me serious are not your not my proplem or a friend so ya
You can believe whatever you want I'm not here to suck up to random ppl i care nothing about I'm just stating facts

This conversation again...
The ESRB rating for the game would go unchanged in the US if these emotes were to be included. You can make a case about the rating potentially changing in other countries as every country has their own standards, but here in the US it wouldn't necessitate a ratings change.
For example, drinking Alcohol in WoW shows your character drinking said beverage, blurs the screen the more you drink, will end up puking if drinking too much, and while drunk the player character will swerve during movement, even while in direct control of the player. It's still rated T.

You do realise that masters of the drunken boxing style arent actually drunk, they just imitate the movements of drunk people. The style is all about deception and catching people off-guard.
If you can't see straight, walk straight, hit straight or even keep your balance, you probably wouldn't be the better fighter.

I cant give you a number but some ppl fight better drunk ive only known one ... and trust me the biggest person you know would be scared to fight him when he was drunk lol
Also being drunk effects ppl different i for example have no balance when sober i get drunk and i am completely balanced in fact due 2 a physical condition sober wise i have issue walking straight i get drunk i can walk straight lines non stop
Emotes are highly appealing to role-players. Many of whom choose to ignore the whole 'Warrior of Light' thing and settle instead on playing regular adventurers or civilians.

Ah, I see. It was actually the WoD who started the great wood fire, they were so drunk they fell over a tree branch and their cigarette fell out of their hand and started the blaze! What Y'sholda actually meant was that she was going to staunch the blaze and keep back the Viera while the WoD staggers off to find a bucket to staunch the flames. Sadly they were so drunk, they fell over again, passed out and somehow found themselves in Mhor Dohna walking along a barren tundra while having a major hangover.

You wouldn't expect a slayer of gods to /blowkiss or /tremble either, but there you go.
You've got to expect some narrative dissonance between cutscenes and player interactions.
