Tamed Mode for completed dungeons and trials

This might sound unorthodox, but can we have a toggle in the duty finder that allows us to enter completed dungeons either where all of the monsters and bosses have no aggression or we get zero enmity? I'd love to have the opportunity to go into a dungeon and look at the architecture and monsters without having to fight them and perhaps take screenshots or just hang out with friends. If the bosses have different looks in several phases, it would also be cool to trigger the next phase without fighting them.

Personally, I play final fantasy games because of the aesthetics, the story, and the housing component. Final Fantasy gives me a certain experience and feeling and I think many other people enjoy the games because of that as well. Some of the dungeons and bosses are gorgeous.

Unfortunately, when you are running dungeons, you can't enjoy these aesthetics optimally, though. When you are running the dungeon, you don't stop and look at the architecture, the party runs through it to complete the mission as quickly as possible. You don't get to take a good look at the monsters and bosses either. In a fight, you are often zoomed out and focusing on your status bars. Even if you do take a quick glance at the boss, they are usually partly hidden by your party's combat animations. There's also no time for shenanigans like posing and taking screenshots with the boss.

I mean, if you're with friends, or undersized and alone, you can just stop and do what you'd like, right?
Also I've absolutely gone into gpose mode during boss fights. Just know when is a smart time to do it lol

The monsters are aggressive even if you're alone. Trying to quickly switch into goose while the boss is trying to kill me is not exactly how I like to enjoy art.

Plus, that still requires fighting. There are people who don't enjoy combat.

Plus, some people don't enjoy combat. Final Fantasy XIV players have diverse reasons for playing and how they would like to experience content.

Once a dungeon(or raid, or whatever) is completed you have a few minutes(5? 10?) before the instance server kicks you out. If i want to check out the architecture/scenery of a place i finish the run. Then when the final loot is rolled on i hit my return spell to pop back to the start, and walk through the instance seeing how everything looks. Yeah, the monsters are already dead but i can absolutely see the scenery. And as Canadane said, you have the option to bring a full group along so you dont feel pressured to rush things. If everyone wants to take their time and look around/pose with the boss/whatever else then theres no stopping you.

So they won't have completed the dungeon to unlock this... right?

To which I'd have to ask why said people are signing up to an MMORPG - a genre where combat is typically the focal point in terms of mechanics and story. I'd be like walking into a Counter-Strike server, citing anti-gun opinions and refusing to shoot people.

I get it, these games all typically have things to admire (and people would prefer the ability to do this at their own pace), yet there's nothing stopping you from stomping an older dungeon unsynced. For dungeons where you can't do this, simply complete it and enjoy the 10-15 minutes it provides you with to go on a tour, use it to soak it all it, use the group/pose feature for screenshots etc. When I first encountered Hell's Lid and saw the inner temple (before the final boss), once that boss was dead I walked back to take some nice snap-shots near the water. If you have friends or like-minded people, you can do this together and utilize the entire 60+ minutes said dungeons provide before inevitable lockout.

Many MMO's these days have pretty deep crafting/trading content. Which allows people to play within the MMORPG world without actually fighting (Or by keeping fighting at a minimum if they want to get materials from mobs)

Anyway, as far as the suggestion goes:

It's a pretty niche feature. Being able to just Unsync but in a way that doesn't aggro mobs so you can take pictures with them...

Though, I suppose it would be possible to ask for Undersized Party dungeons where you're unsync'd and outlevel the dungeon by a fair amount to have enemies no longer aggro onto you. That way you won't be asking for a completely new mode to be designed for a likely very small minority of players, merely updating an existing functionality to have the same end result. With the only downside being that you'd have to wait until content was outdated by a certain amount of time before you could go snapping selfies with all the bosses...
