    As long as the job mechanic is engaging, I don't mind what they come up as long as it's actually different.

    The one thing I don't want is for them to delete skills from other jobs and give it to another and pretend like it's new or something.

    For example, if they took out Shake and Veil to make Gun more specialized in mitigating raid wides/busters but left the other tanks with no raid wide shields.

    With Dark Knight getting a big rework I could see Gunblade getting a revised form of Dark Arts.

    Basically Aetherflow (for loading bullets) + Basically Dark Arts (for using bullets.)

    So long as it's not as spammy as current Dark Knight Dark Arts I wouldn't mind that to be honest.

    I just hope it doesn't get saddled with an enmity combo that you'd (ideally) almost never actually use. Such a waste.

    And I wouldn't say no to moving away from the, "Combo A, Combo B, Combo B, repeat" system, but I won't hold my breath.

    Maybe it would mess with OTing to much... but couldn't they just make it so your normal combo.. your enmity combo... only generated extra enmity while in tank stance?

    I know one reason people were hoping this job would be DPS is because of LB3, but I say fear not as I think at least a couple of Squall's limit breaks will make into the game as powerful ogcds, or skills they get access to through the job gauge resource. IIRC, Squall on top of the initial Renzokuken limit break, also had four random skills that could proc afterwards: Rough Divide, Fated Circle, Blasting Zone, and Lion Heart. They would obviously have to tone down the duration of their animations, but I would expect our new tank to have some pretty flashy skills to give that gunblade justice.

    Other than that, I am keeping expectations at a reasonable level due to the rework all tanks are getting. So other than what I previously mentioned, I am hoping for really cool glamours and MANY gunblades to choose from.

    I'm thinking with the added shield visual they said they'll add (letting you know how much shielded hp you have) that Gunbreaker will be a shield tank, protected by barriers - literally.

    I hope they'll have a low cooldown gap closer skill such that it is like some of the dashing sword moves you might expect from Squal. Whatever else to give them a sort of snappy feel, I'm sure some may compare it to the MCH ammo and cooldown reducing skill (although I hope the rotation isn't so tightly bound that a small mess up is huge like that job is/was lol).

    My best guess is that the Magicked Ammunition mechanic is going to basically be Aetherflow, but giving you a temporary damage buff after using an ammo-spender skill. Fated Circle could easily be the Total Eclipse/Unleash equivalent, and Renzokuken itself could be a major cooldown that lets you use ammo-spending skills freely for the duration.
