    Crafter Gear for ShB

So I've been working on my crafter and gatherer gear and just learned that highest Scrip gear you can get is a "one size fits all" set. I really, REALLY like this.

However I wonder if that in ShB they can't do to Crafter AF what they've done to the Battle Class AF where you get it from your level 70 quest, which allows you to get into getting scrips and then all the scrip gear is a Class set.

Getting scrips for sets of gear for each and every crafter is something that has always bugged me since scrips introduction.

    What do you think?

Crafter "AFs" are essentially meaningless unless you're only interested in the looks. It's not for omnicrafters or 4-star/mastercrafters. Even the "final" scrip set is worthless, because you can't overmeld it; honestly, it's the "relic" version of the crafter gear, where in lieu of spending money/materials to get the max set, you can just spend time to get the almost-as-good set. Which means they wouldn't want to just give it to people - they want to make it a bit of a grind, to give you a reason to do those turnins every week.

To be honest, until they fix it that I can have a lot more dresser space and at least one plate per class, I don't want them clogging my inventory with worthless crafter/gatherer AF gear I won't use. While I'd love to have a different look per class, I can't afford it as an omnicrafter.

you're supposed to craft your own gear which is always better than welfare scrip gear.

You don't need pentamelds at all to make furniture. Pentamelds are purely for hitting control breakpoints to allow easier crafting of HQ recipes without the need for as many HQ materials. Furniture can't be HQ, so just hit the minimum requirements and just PbP/CS2 away.

I mean things like Minatures, Bardings, minions and mounts. Stuff like that in HW you needed melds to make those. I haven't gotten to 70 on all my crafters yet so I don't know if that's different this time around.

It's possible you'll need melds, I'm not entirely sure since I've had the required stats for every recipe since 4.3 or whenever the bis gear came out. But you certainly do not need to pentameld to craft anything other than HQ gear/consumables. Everything you listed can't be made HQ.
