Problem is that SE are consistantly putting new NPC only in Uldah or the surrounding area's.
Materia Goblin, Ifrit/Moogle Loot NPC, it seems they aren't interested in spreading the population into other cities.

Agreed, it would be great if the search was linked, would tie into the fee better, show what city it's in etc.![]()

Until Square can get Uldah working with the new features without crashing, I don't think this is a good idea. XD

Once we get a Jeuno (most likely Ishgard) the city markets will become as barren as the old sandy/basty/windy anyway.
The only thing I miss about the ones in xi not being linked is being able to buy a scroll for 10k on the sandy ah and reselling it for 300k in jueno cause someone was too lazy to look up ffxiah.com lol I made so much gil that way in xi.
I dont think you should be able to meet ppl in the market wards or travel between city via them but once we have an actual ah in place this wouldnt be a 100% bad idea. As it is right now tho, idk if it would work. V2 and and ah and what not are in view tho so for now, esp with such a small player base, its fine imo
Maybe but since the population is nearly all in Ul'dah if they do place npc's in other areas they would have to listen to ppl here on the forums whine about having to travel all the way to grid or LL to talk to the npc. Its never a win/win for se
Hey DEV Team. You this OP? It's a very very good idea. Please do it ok? +1
Thats true, they should just take a hard stance in those cases and say if you want to play the game you have to expect to travel, I mean they added airships for this very reason.
{Yes Please!} Agree with the OP very much so
On a similar note, why doesn't the price history at least link across cities?
If you really want to start improving the population of the other cities. You need to do this.
Another thing that will help is stop putting everything in Uldah! City is ugly anyways, looks like bastok with sandy's walls.
