Here's the thing. Savage raiding is a serious time investment, we're talking about dozens of hours for a single raid tier, and if you want other players to invest their time helping you (because by now any decent player has already cleared all this content several times so they have no reason to go there again) it must be worth it, meaning that you must be willing to do your best to improve as a player and become a valuable long term asset for the party that will help you. If you expect "elite groups/players", as you call them, to take your hand and help you clear content they already cleared and then say goodbye to them I can tell you already that you're starting with the wrong mindset.

Furthermore, we're now in the middle of the end of expansion lull, so it'd be very hard to find a party for savage raids regardless of your attitude.

    Hey bud,

I just want to respond to this so that other people who eventually read your response don't misunderstand my stance. You're right in that people who want to attempt true end-game content should definitely be willing to invest time and effort. And that if someone does not improve then I totally understand why others would not want to play with them. However I would like to assume that a good amount of players who want to start end-game content such as extreme trials and savage raids have played enough of this game and other MMORPG's to where they feel confident enough to start learning with the ability to improve. Often times they just need a chance and to learn from others who have more knowledge and experience just like anything else in life. Watching the videos on Youtube isn't the same as actually practicing in-game.

I just feel like the top community isn't welcoming to newer players trying to enter which is why I'm posting this to join others like me together. Looking at Party Finders, there's so many requirements and restrictions on the descriptions that people like me can't really join, even if my item level is high enough. Also, the objective of this post is not necessarily to demean the elite/top players who don't want/have time/patience to help newer/returning playres but to attract those that do want to help or don't mind helping newer players. We aren't looking for a free pass for people to rush us and baby our way through end-game, just mentors and/or others like us to band together. Lastly, it is obviously very difficult to find a group for this which is why I'm posting this in the first place to recruit others. I hope this clears up any confusion or doubts for future readers of this post, ultimately my objective is to learn, contribute, have fun, and make friends which is what all games should be!
