Early First Impressions on Gunbreaker

Even if we do get those skills, they're not going to end up being Limit Breaks so they'll definitely be toned way down. That or they'll just be it in name only, since tank LBs aren't attacks.

I'm hoping personal LBs are on the table.

It seems really odd that they showcase Hien using a non-standard Limit Break during Ghimlyt Dark. Why go to that effort?

Probably because LB's are cool.

The issue with personal LB's is it messes with balance.

Like, if GUN got one of Squall's LB's instead of the trash that is the current Tank LB, that'd instantly give them an advantage over the other 3 Tanks (Outside the very small number of encounters where the Tank LB is necessary in which case GUN becomes significantly worse)

Personal wouldn't use the party gauge. That's kind of what I mean by "personal limit break".

Even then, it's still the same issue sans the quip about the encounters where Tank LB is required.

Unless you essentially just copy/paste the same LB's across everyone in the role and merely change the animations. You'd be opening a can of worms for the balancing team where they'd be having to try and balance out multiple limit breaks in addition to the base skills of the class.

You mean, kind of like how the party limit break works now?

Not seeing the issue. Renzokuken being the Gunbreaker flavor of a Tank Personal Damage Breaker is plenty fine by me.
