    Does Nier stuff mean we can get an android race next expansion?

    An android race would be my absolute favorite. It would be really cool if we got the option one day!

    It's probably that Yoko Taro wasn't content with just being in a 'crossover' event, like the MH:W one.

    Likely he wanted to go full out on this and accepted nothing less.
    Plus, the community kind of wanted the Nier:A style to be present in the game for a while, no?

    Pretty sure Yoshi-P said at the NA FanFest that Viera are going to be the last 'new additional' race. Meaning if there were to be more races added in future, they'd be pre-existing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any android-type races that aren't the Allagan Nodes.

    What would an android race even look like? From what little I've seen of NieR, don't they look exactly like normal humans anyway? So in this version of the world they'd just look like any of the other races.

    Probably engineered by that guy in the carriage when we first arrived in [starting city of choice]. That's why we have no memories prior to that moment - we were only switched on just then, and the whole thing was a setup to convince us we were a real person.
