Yeah, one of her lines in her fight is even "These blood stained hands have much more to accomplish."

Lore dump through dialog of a side character whose storyline is forgetable at best.

Well, that only adds salt to injury because, i haven't seen any crimson liberator and i have definitely not seeing "pushing obstacles in light of the odds being against you", in fact, baddies can call themselves gods only so many times before that becomes meaningless and you can be called a god-killer entity so many times before that also becomes meaningless, the only part that was threatening to us was Zenos.

Is also this crimson liberator Lyse? Because if that is so, the whole expansion is named after a character we only see past actions through cutscenes, gets the credit for things it didn't do/worked for them? What has Lyse really done, honestly, aside being the daughter of someone else and the sister of what was actually a good character.

You are not helping your case here.

Truthfully, I didn't want to see Ala Mhigo liberated. I wanted to experience a crushing defeat. For the Empire to show us their might by leveling Aha Mhigo to the ground. Completely destroyed. Following that, I would have liked to see the restoration project focus on Ala Mhigo rather than Doma. I think that would have been a stronger story.
Kinda what was i expecting (and i still expect someone to finally defeat us for good?) till i saw Othard being shown in the Stormblood trailer, i knew the storyline will spread way too thin as for any deeper/thematically interesting content related to Ala Mhigo, the Revolution and the war against the empire/ascians to be really fleshed out.
