To those who say BLU should be Limited yet want Male Viera

Because BLU is my favourite FF job of all time, I always wanted to main it yet I'm simply told no and now I 100% a job that's a far cry of what I wanted.

I don't care about Viera, but people wanted them, and gender locking is stupid but I won't stand by while people say Vier should be unlocked yet BLU won't.

IF they would have implemented Blue Mage as a full class, it would have had 1/3 of the abilities and edited versions of some of the iconic abilities, None of the Death style abilities (Tail Screw, Doom, Missile), none of the self kill abilities (Final Sting and Self Detonate) and Transfusion, they would Probably remove Mighty Guard and White Wind, Probably Diamond Back also. Most of the Status afflicting stuff would go away with Bad Breath probably being reduced to an AOE Poison DoT ala White Mage's Aero III. 1000 needles would be 100% Useless so get rid of that. Get rid of all the like abilities because Elemental affinity is non existent to a full job. Half the Primal Abilities are immediately gone. Well only One breath ability would remain. You wouldn't need Water Breath and Bad Breath. You don't need Eruption and Feather rain or Mountain Buster and Glass Dance. Your Job quest would probably play out similar to the SMN one where you go and try to learn to do the thing but now limited to a very reduced tool box at the end. It wouldn't /be/ a blue mage. It would be Red Mage 2.0 Take away the fun and leave the bare basic requirement. Black Magic, White Magic, a cure button and Dual Cast. Basically Blue mage without the elemental affinities, and the over world learning and monster hunting is nothing more than Generic Caster Class number 4.

Having a skill learning system and being unlimited are not mutually exclusive things. You can still have both, and that's what people are finding as BLU is balanced for a level 50 job, with White Wind and Mighty Guard.

None of the skills work on bosses that are instant death, or percentage damage. We already know about the CC immunity almost everything has or getting, meaning a lot of the combos that BLU has are downright useless. Elemental weaknesses don't matter outside of Carnival but even then they never mattered at all, it's that easy.

Tell me, does BLM/SMN/RDM all play the same? Or do theh all have different game play? Maybe we shouldn't have Gunbreaker because then we'd have Generic Tank 4. BLU right now is upkeeping a DoT, using oGCDs and spamming a 130 potency move of your choice. So in the system we already have, BLU has become a generic caster in terms of rotation.

SE can do so many things yet they cut corners so hard it's making a circle.

And also I am greatly disappointed in SE not showing Male Viera. Sure, it doesn't affect me, but people have wanted it so much only for the devs to backhand them and I do support Male Viera being in the game, maybe I wasn't clear enough in the OP.

What I can't stand is people wondering why they're getting affected while also justifying one type of content to be limited. I even said this in OP, ask for content or everyone, not for some and restrict others. If you gladly want BLU to be Limited, yet want an already established race, with established Lore, that they have to go through hoops to bring in, and not to mention how they can simply get denied showing Male Viera in order to keep to the integrity of the race of previous games from previous creaters (even companies have to deal with their own inter-house copyright), then you forget the irony of your words. Funny how people are claiming vindictive, while spewing vitriol themselves.

P.S Also we all pay for our jobs with our sub, it's not a simple "Oh change your job if don't like it" then why even have new jobs? Lets get rid of Gunbreaker then, it's clearly not needed.
