Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

No, it hits on the post, because you say you would have left miqo'te and roe gender locked. Of course it doesn't bother you that they would only be playable by half the human race each because it's not the one you are playing. It's the classic it doesn't affect me so it's fine syndrome.

I played as Galka back in XI, and never bothered me to being not enable to be female. I played Galka because i like how they were in FFXI. Whant I cannot understand is... if you want male vieras (wich I'm 100% sure that they're coming and the discussion about gender locking is a waste) Why not choose any other race to play? I'd love to play as a Dwarf! but there is no dwarfs playable in FFXIV. Now they're a tribe and I had no dramas with it. you are already being playing without male viera lol. Anyone can't be already affected by locking male vieras because, there is no vieras you can play. I think whole discussion is really dumb.

And, honestly. almost everyone who had loud "please viera race in FFXIV!" I think almost all of them were referring https://bit.ly/2D6w7Yn

And, buddy, I'm not trying to change youd opinion. thats my point of view. As you said, as an Elezen (and I don't plan to play viera because I'm not used to play with female characters) this does not affects me at all haha

When all other races are not gender locked, having the last one being added gender locked is a big slap in the face.

Can't see the slap. but Can't see the possibilty o being gender locked haha. I think it is imposible to vieras being gender locked. First, they removed all gender locked old races. Second, if they would implementing it again, they have already announced it like limited job being a new """feature""" (more than a lack off features). Imagine "new LIMITED RACES! (lack off features again) new content, but little. New races is a core part of an expansion. they know it and don't blow it up with very bad comunication.

Maybe they simply delayed releasing males till tomorrow or maybe the next fanfest? It would make sense for them to want to stagger the content so they can releasing new major things at each fanfest. This time its female vieras+Gunbreaker, then next time it'll be male vieras+Dancer. Maybe then we'll know what the primal for the nu mou will be as well.

I really love what they did to their face, to make it looking close to actual bunny face.
This nose, those lips and eyes are really well designed, it doesnt just look like a regular human with bunny ears, which i was aware of.

If we do get male Vieras, and this turned out to be true, I'd strip and run around the neighborhood in pure ecstasy. It would be a dream come true. That's the kind of playable male character that we are completely lacking, and I want the most.

As of now it's looking very likely. I love the hairstyles they made. The longer hairstyles are fantastic and I suppose they will be race restricted. Plus, I'm a big Fran fan and I would love to change. I still love my Elezen but I want to change race since it doesnt look like I am ever going to get a hyur/Elezen hybrid I wish for.

Well...if Yoko really is working on Viera bottoms then...I guess we may get the perfect buns at least for Viera in this game, too! ^-^;

Can't imagine what someone's resume would say if they got fired from Yoko Taro's team for not creating the perfect 2B rump.
