Holy crap I'm not sure how much non obfuscated Urianger face time I can take. I also like the new duds he's wearing.

At least he looks like a normal person now. Though then again, aside from his excursion with the HW-WoDs he's been more or less just tucked away in the Sands
Oh yeah I'm glad he seems to be playing a bigger role even if that only comes to him being a trust only, but those scenes with Y'Stola make it seem like it'll be more than just that. I do hope they make a little joke about him almost always having his face covered in the past.
I wonder if this is the Urianger and Y'Shtola we know? ...or...if this is them in our realm, or where ever they have been taken...curiouser, curiouser.
To me it looks like an OLD look rather then a new one.
When did he ever sport Astrologian garb? Last I checked he's rocked his current outfit since 1.0 and only once temporary changed his outfit while working with the WoD crew in a robe that was used a lot during HW.
Ahaha so I'm not the only one. It's pretty rare that I react to... anyone, much, with more than "yeah, that's a good-looking character design" but he makes me fangirl. Totally involuntary reaction. I'm not sure how much more I can handle at the moment.
Either that or I'm just excited by previously-masked characters getting revealed, because Estinien is another one.
I'm not keen on his new costume though, as much as I'd been hoping he'd get one. Most of it is fine, though not at all what I would have expected him to wear - the Dravanian robes he was wearing during the WoD arc suited him better - and that heavy necklace looks quite awkward. I think they're trying to conceal the weird Elezen neck proportions, but it's not working and maybe makes it worse. It's the sort of thing I'd avoid when picking costumes for my Elezen alt.
I don't think it was used a lot - in terms of character design, anyway. I think he's the only actual character who has worn it. Though design-recycling-wise, it was used twice in Heavensward (Lv55 Orthodox and Lv60 Dravanian sets) and then once more in Stormblood (Lv64 vendor gear).
Being the mage equivalent of the costumes we see Thordan's knights wearing, that would suggest it's thousand-year-old Dravanian fashion - which seems rather appropriate for him!
I meant that both healer and caster had the same look just different colors and the "skirt" style was used a lot. My brain wants to say there's a crafted version of it that happened during HW, but I'm not sure. Mutton Chops normally don't work for me but when he took off that mask I did have a dang man now I know why Moonbryda went for ya moment. He's not that bad of a looker and I was a little disappointed when his face went back into hiding.
I absolutely Fangirled as soon as I saw his face. I did a double fan girl when I realized he was an Astrologian! I am not sure how I feel about his new outfit. The arm bands look very similar to the lvl 60 Ast gloves and the Body piece looks like a modifies version of the female lvl 70 Ast body. Don't get me wrong, I am so Excited to actually be able to see his face and see him in a new role (MORE FACE TIME PLEASE!) but was definitely not expecting this look for him. LOVE LOVE LOVE Urianger!
I'm wondering why he was calling Y'shtola Matoya!? Is that a title now and not referring to a person? Or is Matoya riding shotgun in her body while Y'shtola is away?
