I fully expect them announce new jobs and their roles, pissing off everyone twice.
"WHY NO CLASS X AND WHY IS THIS CLASS TANK/HEALER?!"

Yellow vest as a glamour pls.
This will forever be a problem. Even in WoW with three available specs for each class (not demon hunter) only paladin and monk has one spec for each role. Unless the trinity stops being a thing, we will never be rid of this
The third part of the holy trinity, crowd control, has more or less stopped being a thing in current mmo design.
Games that have tried to get rid of tanking and healing in a traditional sense have not had much success.
Trinity is best thing what happened to this game.
And games who did get rid of trinity got bad gameplay
I prefer the salty people
I mean if they actual want to make dancer a thing that is not a snoozefest they kinda need to go in that directon? atleast i would guess. No really cc but something more akin to the support type in a moba

You can't introduce a job that just cuts off the holy trinity, they'd have to rework all the jobs in that respect. That's why I don't believe in it.
I'd rather see healers get more support and DPS tools, and same for tanks. Enough to do the minimal requirements of the role, and more diversity to make each job enjoyable (which is already the case for AST in my opinion).
Oh yeah. Totally forgot about Druids.
Shame pure support classes are not a thing. Bard and Dancer could fill it. Hell Astrologian could also work well as a pure support job.
