    I got mine working but my fix might not work for you.
    • Make sure your VC x64 or x86 redistributables are up to date
    • Update drivers on everything on device manager
    • Check for windows updates and update if any available
    • Make sure the launcher is run in administrator mode
    • End task on background processes not important in task manager and make sure FFXIV is still not running in background.
    • Right before you try to run launcher. shutdown PC and reboot.

    Tried this with no success .
