They did read his first post. No one actually paid anything in subscription fees since they never ended the trial period. As others said, he's probably in the same boat I am, where I purchased enough Crysta to play for a few months. So while I did technically have money taken out of my bank account to play, it's just been sitting in my SE account in Crysta form waiting for the day the trial ended.
Just to clarify I did the stupid Click-and-Buy method and paid for 6months.
But they shouldn't have ACTUALLY charged you when you set up those 6 months (Click and Buy way). I did it too and I was never charged since they started the free trial extension right away and I started right when CE came out. Just because you set it up doesn't mean it went through, Click and Buy wise anyway. If you did the Crysta way, then all the Crysta you've purchased should still be in your SE management account.
I suppose this may be the case (been looking over my credit card info and cant find the charge). But I swear I remember my credit card company calling me and asking me about a shady transaction (clickandbuy). HrmmmBut they shouldn't have ACTUALLY charged you when you set up those 6 months (Click and Buy way). Yea click and buy is not the most legit company...
I think Click and Buy instantly charges you $1 or something when you set it up to make sure it goes through and is a legit payment method then they instantly reimburse you or something like that.
Ah that must be it. Mystery solved!
Last year my credit card was locked when Click-and-Buy charged me the $1 but just one phone call cleared that right up. I was never billed a penny in subscription fees and the $1 was returned.
No one should have been actually billed anything yet. The only thing you could have bought at this point is the actual game itself and Crysta.
I do agree that the whole thing might be a little confusing.
