Old PvP rewards should be attainable through frequent season ranking/participation

The Feast is definitely broken, no doubt about it.

This thread was focused on rewards, but I wrote in another thread about all of the things that could be improved about Feast aside from the rewards, and it covered almost everything you said here -- so don't think that everyone is focused solely on rewards, because those of us who do Feast as often as we can, easily see how skewed and broken the mode is -- not to mention exploitable (though it looks like they're finally doing something about that).

Why would I play it? It's garbage compared to other games that offer PvP and the rewards are garbage as well, and worst of all it's polluted with people like you who are more interested in shouting every opposing opinion down. Everyone is angry about the PvP Rewards. The Real Problem is that i die of boredom doing the 4.x PvP. Even if i am at 100% winrate, i just stop after a maximum of 5 games cause i get reminded how utterly boring the new pvp is.

The netcode IS bad, but that would take a whole expansion's worth of time to fix and we'd probably only see minor system improvements if anything.

I hope we get some PVP news soon (other than Rival Wings) but I'm betting it won't be until March for the JP Fanfest after this whole tournament thing is done.

People want access to rewards from seasons, where there was clear win trading/match fixing? how dare they. git gud.

You realize that the bad guys are heavily outnumbered by the people who play by the rules? I know it varied a bit on the different data center, but the cheater/wintrader problem was probably never higher than 0-5% of the leaderboard. Which means out of 100 people you had maximal 5, which is a pretty unlikely high number already. There are probably 2-5x more alts each season than people who play unfair. It is the bigger problem if you want easier access to top100.

Every game has these people, it only works because the pvp community is small, as matchfixing is easier then. It also wouldn't be so noticeable if you would play against 1000s other people each day, you would never see them again.

I would increase the pool of wolf collar rewards and double the wolf collar rewarded for each tier. Make top10 something special again other than even more wolfcollar.
There could also be an upgrade pathway for current feast weapons to add a sharp dark/black glow to them.

They kinda have to release new rewards when the next addon starts because you could potentially gotten every wolfcollar weapon by them, if you would have consistently place top10.
