I think we can forgive that. It could have been an idea that was being worked on but later on scrapped. Omega M/F was referred to as Adam and Eve, but did it mean he was wrong? You get the picture.
I understand, but that provides some major leeway regarding if a "gunblade" job wasn't scrapped in the meantime, it could have shifted roles in development since.
It's not fully functional as a limited job with a level cap.
Make it level 70 and it still would function as it is now. The numbers would just be bigger.
We already got 3 dps classes this expansion. So a new tank or healer might be in the works. What are they? Don't know.
Gunblade tank and Dancer healer seem super likely
Yes the leaker got Blue mage (somewhat) wrong
But hes also gotten so much other things right very very specific thing.
Im more inclined to believe it still since mistranslated or misinterpretation happens alot more then you think with video game leaks,
He could have seen blue use the knife skill and white wind enough to think it was a support melee dps just like how the smash bros leaker considered issabelle a villager echo she wasnt but its understandable to see the connection.
Two. It's sort of not fair to count BLU as a real job when it comes to how many jobs were released for a role. Certainly it'd suck if Soldier was released as a limited job under the tank role and people said "There's your new tank!"
Assuming BlueFever leaks still holds (which I'm sure they do)
If you want to switch to tank for next expansion my advice, beside reading guides, would be to actually practice and get a tank to 70, doing a few dungeons to get a good feeling.
While it will surely have its own gimmick, a few things will surely stay the same and keeping aggro of a bunch of dungeon ennemies is globaly the same on all tanks. (globaly)
Same with the CD management and tanks mechanic such as tank swaps.
Another thing, while leveling a tank you'll acquire gear which will be useful for the future tank.
I assume it will start off at lv 60 but to be safe perhaps also get lv 50 to 59 gear.
Ofc, this is assuming you want to level in the best condition, unless you're sure of what you're doing, (which might not be the case since you're seeking for tanking adviec) I would definitely not advice you to start tanking at lv 60 without any prior tanking experience.
