Valentine's event 2019 info released

I wouldn't mind SE turning Valentine's into a waifu holiday if Little Ladies Day didn't already exist with no celebration for boys... Hi, I play this game and I am sick of cute girl/waifu culture, please stop putting more of it in the game than there already is.

As for the rewards my sub is stopped so I probably won't resub for them unless I do some math and the resub time matches up with the next bit of the 4.5x content drop. I don't really mind Valentine's having less awesome rewards since we got nice gear from the Christmas event, but I do wonder how a DRK weapon and a CUL off-hand were determined to be the rewards... wouldn't something usable by everyone like a choker be better?

If you want it to be for boys make it for boys. You can make it about your husbando! It's just a promo image and two of the girls are the same as every year.

I intend to come back of course- I have a burning need to know how the Hildibrand arc ends. But I won't resub early just to catch this event since it seems pretty meh with the rewards. The advertising being all girls with nary a boy in sight only hurts it's image IMO. If we're following some NPCs around helping them find love or cope with heartbreak, can I at least help a generically cute guy instead of a generically cute girl?

So you got me wondering. So I went back looking up each of the Valentione’s Day promos till 2015 and it looks like every other year has guys in it. (ok granted two had blank faced generic guys and one was a wedding couple but still!) So Next year should have dudes! Maybe.

Failing that Find you a cute guy and follow HIM around as he follows the cute girl around!
