It's lvl 50 content.Not lvl 70 content.At that lvl it's only a carry if the lvl 50 player is bad/not doing mechanics.Contrary to belief to some bad players you dont need to be lvl 70 to beat lvl 50 content.We managed to farm it fine back in ARR with lvl 50 jobs and judging by your join date i can gurantee you had many carries by lvl 60 players on outdated ARR content.

That doesn't really matter. BLU isn't joining a WT party to complete WT, they're there to leech for a chance to learn their skill. Now I probably personally wouldn't care one way or the other, but if I did decide to exclude BLU from that sort of party it would be based on principle that this isn't a BLU carry party.

That's correct. Not sure how the forums have anything to do with what you do in-game though, plenty of players don't actually use this place...

Missile kills most all the mini bosses in seconds and works on most of the trash mobs, too. If you want fast clear you actually want a blue mage in the party.

The problem is blue mages joining without learning any spells at 50, and trying to spam water cannon the whole time. Once blue mage has a fleshed out spellbook they are significantly stronger than any other lv50 job.

Honestly, we still have people hopping into the DF without their job crystals which is arguably worse than missing a few spells. I don't see the point in locking BLU out of the DF.

Isn't this thread about someone being kicked from an EX trial party though? You can't use Missile or Tail Screw on primals.

Small correction to this, level 50 is perfectly equipped to clear the ARR extreme primals if people are doing mechanics as intended, but that's not how level 70 players are conducting the fights, and there are plenty of phase transition attacks triggered by hp% (like Ifrit, Garuda, or Leviathan's transitions) that no level 50 has the HP to survive without having killed the "intended" mechanic, like Nails, Sisters, or Spumes, which these parties aren't doing because level 70s can just eat the attack.

Exactly this. I'm not going to do Levi, Titan, Shiva (well, any ARR primals) sync'd, and unless all we're doing is standing there healing you while you do all of the damage, there's no way to do an ARR primal at 70 without skipping phases. Even with Levi, because he has so many phases, we usually just have the tank auto-attack until we're out of the woods and even then he goes down in the matter of a minute or two. And when we take 50s in to get their ponies, they're always dead within the first few large-scale attacks. There's no way around it, even with a healer constantly attending their health.

All of this to say, WT parties are not the place to get your BLU skills. There's no reason someone can't go into a WT trial and clear a WT entry while helping BLUs get their skills, but parties looking to farm WT (or ponies) aren't going to want to jump that many hoops to keep a BLU up when that's not even what they're there for. Make your own party or get some FC folks to help out - and if it's your party and you have folks pushing you to speed it up, it's then in your rights to kick them since it's not what the party is for.
